ESR1.28 blood collection tubes

ESR vacuum tubes of Impro brand, made in China, are used for blood sampling and determination of red blood cell sedimentation rate (Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate) based on the Westergren method and in both manual and machine types. The ESR blood sampling tube is a device designed in such a way that it does not require a sodium pipette, and the accuracy of the test results and the ease of its use are higher compared to the manual method.

Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR) or simply called Sed Rate is a type of blood test that shows the level of inflammatory activity in the blood. When the blood contains anticoagulant at room temperature and If it is placed vertically and still, red blood cells are precipitated, and this height after deposition, which is expressed in millimeters after one or two hours, is called ESR.

This sedimentation takes place in three stages, in the first stage, the sedimentation speed is very low, in the next stage, the sedimentation speed is higher, and in the third stage, the sedimentation speed decreases again.

This sedimentation rate is directly related to the red blood cell (RBC) mass and inversely related to the cell surface. For example, when the mass of the red blood cell is high and its volume is low, the rate of sedimentation increases. Among the reasons for the increase in red blood cell sedimentation, we can mention the increase of fibrinogen, beta-globins and pathological immunoglobulins in plasma cell disorders and chronic inflammatory diseases.
